Donate your old candles or wax

If you have any candles that are burnt too far down or have melted on you, please consider donating them to the DAC. We will melt down any wax (any color, any shape, in any container) and utilize it for our fire starters. We use shredded paper, dixie cups and melted wax to create a fire starter. There are many people who come here for fire starters to use in their fire place or to use while camping. They work great!!
We can accept your old glass jar candles as well, we simply warm the wax and dump it out. Do your spring cleaning and clean out those cupboards.
This saves us money as we have not had to purchase any wax to date. For those of you who have donated, we thank you so very much and keep saving your wax drippings!
