Parent Advocacy Meeting

May 15th will be our first parent meeting with the presence of Jim Clapper (Co-Chair) of Mn FAC (Minnesota Family Advocacy Coalition) and Julie St. Marie-Bingham (Co-Chair) will be present before a group of thirty person related to Polk County DAC. Jim and Julie both have adult children with disabilities that attend a Day program in Minnesota. Both are huge advocates and supporters of person centered planning and desire increased funding from our legislature. They will lead discussions on how we can all increase our involvement with advocating for others.
