Volunteer Opportunities

Polk County DAC depends a great deal on volunteers from the community. Whether it is for one occasion, sharing a talent or friendship with clients, observing on a committee; we have many opportunities for people who are interested in volunteering.  We have recently began coordinating with the University of Minnesota Crookston with engaging our clients to get up and move.  We go there and play basketball or balloon volleyball.  We also have future physical therapist from UMC coming to our building to work 1:1 with a gentleman with Traumatic Brain Injury.  We have a nine member board of Director’s that are all volunteers. Feel free to contact us if you have a talent to share.
